Create a Graduate Application Account

Application for admission to Graduate Studies is a multi-step process. Each graduate program sets its own application deadline. The application process may take several weeks to complete; you should apply well in advance of the deadline to ensure adequate time to submit all required items. After you apply, keep up with it all by monitoring your mySFA account. Step 1: Complete the Online ApplicationPlease note that applications can take 2-3 business days to load to the Stephen F. Austin State University system after submission of the application form.
Step 2: Pay the Application FeePay your $50 non-refundable application fee by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted) or electronic check. You will pay your application fee via your mySFA account 2-3 business days after submission of the application form. Step 3: Submit Official TranscriptsPlease request that an official transcript be sent directly to Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA).
